Description: Get your child in the habit of having fun while exercising. We have made a commitment to make Mini Pro the best place for kids to learn about the game of basketball. The name of the game at this age is FUN, and we will do whatever it takes to bring a smile to your child's face. Each day the kids will learn the fundamentals of basketball while experiencing a friendly atmosphere with coaches that adore them. We have revamped our schedule for 2009 and are looking forward to the opportunity to teach your child the game of basketball while instilling sound Christian principles!

Mini Pro II

Description: This camp is a great follow-up to Mini Pro I. This session will bring back all the fun, excitement and hilarious devotions with a secret added twist! Note that Mini Pro I is not a prerequisite, but we will be reviewing some of the concepts taught earlier there. Campers will absolutely love this next step in their basketball instruction and spiritual development. Players can expect to have game situations taught, as well as daily contests that are both fun and competitive.

Individual Instruction

Description: This camp is created to evaluate, monitor and develop every player we instruct. This one-on-one instruction is an hour-long session for four straight days. Each participant will schedule their session time by calling our office prior to registering. By using video of drills and shooting, we believe we've created the best environment for players to grow by leaps and rebounds! One-on-one attention is what every player needs and now is your opportunity to take your game one step higher. Limited space is available so please register early!

The Next Level

Description: Are you craving to take your game to the NEXT LEVEL? This session is specifically designed to challenge and engage players to continually up there level of playing. Campers will get an extreme amount of playing time and will be pushed to their limits. Workouts will be specific to the player. Instruction will include ball handling, shooting, offensive moves, passing, defense, game concepts and more. Instruction all morning combined with games all afternoon make this camp one of our best offerings!

Overnight Extreme

Description: Imagine staying in a luxury hotel with air conditioning, maid service, private bathrooms, and a beautiful setting at our host hotel - the Doublewood Inn. The pool is ours and the ministry will take place in a spacious ballroom with plenty of room for fun!

Imagine hanging out with Denver Nuggets premier rookie point guard, Ty Lawson. Lawson was drafted as the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, after playing college basketball for the University of North Carolina from 2006 to 2009. Ty will be spending an entire day with us during camp and is ready to sign an autograph for you at any time.

Volleyball Camp - The Ultimate

Description: Volleyball is on the rise and now is your time to develop the skills it takes to be the next ULTIMATE player on your team. The Ultimate Volleyball Camp is new to our schedule this summer, but has been strategically created to give you the focus and training every volleyball athlete wants and needs.  This camp is open to players of all ability levels. You will master the fundamentals, increase your knowledge of proper mechanics and gain experience by playing the game. Coaches from across the region will be joining us on this venture to give you a solid skill foundation to build upon once camp is over. You won't want to miss this amazing week of instruction.

Rising Star I

Description: Get ready for our totally revamped Rising Star camp this summer. The atmosphere is set specifically to mirror what our Overnight Extreme camp will look like. This session invites all players entering grades 4-7 to a week they will never forget. Kids will experience new techniques in teaching the game of basketball while discovering who they really are through Jesus Christ. During the week, campers will also get to experience the Ministry Olympiad. These daily events add the perfect combination of fun, while implementing key fundamentals in their basketball training.

Rising Star II

Grade: 4-7 (Boys & Girls)

Description: Rising Star II is an awesome follow-up camp to Rising Star I. It is not progressive, but will continue to build on the fundamental aspects of the game. We will implement game situations as well as play full-court games. One of our main goals at this camp is to focus on your child's fundamental techniques. Great instruction, more games, combined with non-stop fun make this camp an absolute must for children with the potential to learn more about the game of basketball.

Shooting Academy
Dates: Jul 12, 2010 - Jul 15, 2010 (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Location: Shiloh Christian School
Grade: 5-10 (Boys & Girls)

Description: The most difficult skill for a player to learn is how to shoot the ball consistently well. Whether the player needs instruction from the ground up or just a polishing touch, this camp has proven itself to improve all areas. We take each camper through a sequential process from the foundation of shooting, all the way to shot preparation and footwork. Bob Upgren personally views each player, assessing their areas of needed improvement as well as videotaped sessions of each camper’s shot.
