Mini Pro I
Dates: May 27, 2008 - May 30, 2008

Grade: K-3
Description: Mini Pro is for boys and girls entering grades K-3. It is the prefect start-up camp for your child, and will include a week of pure excitement for everyone in attendance. Mini Pro focuses on the fundamentals of basketball, while surrounding the kids in a Christ-centered atmosphere. The name of the game at this age is FUN, and we will do whatever it takes to a put a smile on your child’s face.
Two different times: First Group is at 8:30-11:00 Second Group is at 1:30-4:00

Mini Pro II

Description: Mini Pro II is not a progressive camp to Mini Pro I, but it is a great follow-up for your little camper. This session will bring all the fun, excitement and hilarious devotions back to the children with a secret added twist. Campers will absolutely love this next step in their basketball instruction and spiritual development. Cost: $75

Rising Star I

Description: Get ready for our totally revamped Rising Star Camp this summer. This session invites all players entering grades 4-7 to a week they will never forget. We provide the latest techniques of basketball instruction, as well as a great atmosphere for kids to learn in. During the week, campers will also get to experience the Ministry Olympiad. These daily events add the perfect combination of fun, while implementing key fundamentals in their basketball training. Cost: $75

Rising Star II

Description: Rising Star II is an awesome follow-up camp to Rising Star I. It is not progressive, but will continue to build on the fundamental aspects of the game. After the blast they will have at Rising Star I, campers will be racing to the door to get back to the coaches and friends they met earlier in the summer. CAUTION: This camp has the likelihood to make an extremely positive impact on your child!

Family Camp

Description: If you’re looking to build a great relationship with your son or daughter or even strengthen your entire family, Cross Training Family Camp is the perfect place to start. It’s one thing for just the camper to experience the excitement of Cross Training, but we wanted to get the whole family involved. Not wanting to restrict the camp to a father/son or mother/daughter experience, Cross Training would like to invite anyone who would love to spend some time with a loved one. Kids entering grades 2-9 are welcome.Whether you are an experienced coach or you’ve never played basketball before, this camp will be a memorable weekend for you and the youngster(s) you love. There will be contests, instruction, and even a family Olympiad event each night. Here at Cross Training, we take basketball very seriously, but we also know basketball isn’t life. Take a small vacation, and come join us for three fun-filled nights with your family this summer. Cost: Adult & Child = $100 Additional child or adult = $40

Individual Instruction

Description: This is quickly becoming one of our most popular sessions for those wanting to take their game to the next level. Individual Instruction offers a unique one-on-one training session with their very own advanced basketball coach. Individual Instruction is offered to boys and girls entering grades 5-12. Whether working with beginner players or advanced players striving for stardom, our coaches have the ability and knowledge to teach players the very best basketball techniques. The training includes four days of one-on-one instruction for an hour a day. The coaches are extremely motivated to teach and improve. We take the instruction of this camp to a personal level. Cost: $240

High School Competition Camp

Grade: 10-12
Description: High School Competition camp will be launched the summer of 2008. This camp is directed towards men and women entering grades 10-12. Being competitive is one thing, but taking your game up a notch with intensity is an entirely different level. At High School Competition camp, it is our goal to gather the best basketball players in the state and bring them together head-to-head. Whether it’s a team or an individual, one must possess passion and determination to become the very best. Players will be taught the basics of being an offensive threat, becoming a pure shooter, and developing the mind of scorer. Afternoons will be devoted to 5-on-5 games. If you desire to become a better basketball player, a better leader, even a better team, competition camp is where you’ll want to be.

Next Level

Description: The Next Level is the ultimate basketball camp for players who have the talent and desire to improve and take their game to the next level. This camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day with lunch included. Players entering grades 6-9 will receive instruction in every aspect of the game; including shooting, ball handling, offensive moves, passing, defense, game concepts and more! Instruction in the morning combined with games all afternoon make this camp one of our best offerings! LIMITED to 60 players Cost: $240

Shooting Camp
Dates: Jul 14, 2008 - Jul 17, 2008 (9:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Location: Shiloh Christian School
Grade: 5-10
Description: Shooting Camp is for boy and girls entering grades 5-10. Our specialty is shot instruction. Whether the player needs instruction from the ground up or just a polishing touch, this camp has proven itself to improve all areas. We take each camper through a sequential process from the foundation of shooting, all the way to shot preparation and footwork. Bob Upgren personally views each player, assessing their areas of needed improvement as well as videotaped sessions of each camper’s shot.

Overnight Extreme
Dates: Jul 21, 2008 - Jul 25, 2008

Description: Each summer, over 200 young people converge on the campus of the University of Mary for one EXTREME week of basketball instruction and Christ-centered ministry. Days are jam-packed with drills, breakout sessions, games and intense instruction on the court. Campers end their days with ministry in the evening; ranging from hilarious skits to even small group sessions. After a week of something this EXTREME, campers will leave saying only one phrase, “That was the best week ever!” The past six years we have been fortunate enough to bring in an NBA guest for our Overnight Extreme camp. But, this year it’s going to be even better! Not only are we bringing you a part of the NBA, but also one of the best Christian comedians on the PLANET! Parent Information: ¨ Housing will be on the beautiful campus of the University of Mary ¨ Private bathroom in every suite ¨ Air-conditioned rooms after a long day in the gym ¨ Fantastic meals will be served by the cafeteria on campus ¨ This camp is a great place for your child to get involved and find friends Check-in for camp will be on July 21 at 4 p.m. The closing ceremony will be on Friday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. Campers are dismissed immediately following the awards prgoram.
